Job Title: Director of Operations Child and Youth Services

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations Child and Youth Services to join our team at the YMCA of Greater Vancouver.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide strategic leadership in the day-to-day operations of multiple child care programs
* Ensure fiscal responsibility by assisting in the planning and administering the branch's annual operating budget
* Empower and inspire direct reports and their teams to embody excellence and a deep dedication to children's well-being
* Ensure that all branch policies, procedures, practices, processes, and systems comply with applicable legislation and licensing

Requirements:

* 10+ years multidiscipline management experience
* Post-secondary degree or equivalent University Degree in a related discipline or combination of relevant education and experience
* Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate multiple staff teams in satellite locations
* Good judgement and sound decision making in resolving complex issues
* Proven experience with stakeholder and partner engagement
* Well versed in child development and child care programming and leadership
