About the Role

Potentia Human Resources Inc. is seeking an experienced Business Growth Strategist to join our team in Kelowna, BC.

Job Description

We are looking for a results-driven and self-motivated individual to drive growth by identifying new opportunities and forming strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have relevant business development experience within the service industry, with extensive knowledge of MS Office programs and CRM software.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Research and Analysis
    • Conduct market research and analyze competition to identify new business opportunities
    • Develop strategies to boost revenue and nurture client relationships
  • Negotiation and Partnership Development
    • Negotiate deals and work with internal teams to align on business objectives
    • Establish and maintain rapport with potential business leads
  • Service Delivery and Contract Management
    • Attend client meetings to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions
    • Prepare or oversee the preparation of service contracts and consult with clients post-sale
Requirements:
  • Relevant business development experience within the service industry
  • Tech-savvy with extensive experience using MS Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Previous experience using a CRM program or ZoomInfo is considered an asset
  • Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Excellent networking and interpersonal relationship-building skills
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment
  • Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to put together proposals and contracts accurately
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to manage telephone calls and inquiries
  • Drive to achieve sales targets and expand the company's presence in Western Canada
  • A valid driver's license

Compensation Package

This is a full-time opportunity offering an excellent total compensation package, including employer-paid benefits, growth opportunities, and a flexible hybrid working environment. We anticipate offering a base salary of $60,000 annually, plus variable pay in the way of commission and/or an annual performance bonus.
