Senior Director of Clinical Practice

The Senior Director of Clinical Practice is a key leadership role within Thrive Group Canada, responsible for overseeing and ensuring clinical excellence across all Thrive organizations. This role provides leadership and direction for both Medical Doctors (MDs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs) across these organizations, ensuring clinical programs, policies, education, and innovation are aligned and consistently delivered at the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and direction for MDs and NPs across Thrive organizations.
- Ensure clinical programs, policies, education, and innovation are aligned and consistently delivered at the highest standards.
- Develop and grow a robust NP community of practice, contributing to research, innovation, and the Thrive Group Centre of Excellence in Healthcare Innovation.
- Lead by example, fostering effective team work and influencing others to achieve clinical excellence.
- Build and maintain working relationships with all members of the healthcare teams and community partners.
- Develop and implement clinical programs, policies, and education initiatives that promote clinical excellence.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and address clinical gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical research, trends, and best practices in healthcare.
- Current Nurse Practitioner Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in the Extended Class.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a senior clinical leadership role, with experience overseeing MDs and NPs in a multi-disciplinary and multi-site healthcare organization.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and developing clinical programs, policies, research initiatives, and education programs.
- Strong experience in fostering communities of practice, research, innovation, and driving quality improvement initiatives.
- Superior leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire clinical teams.
- Demonstrated experience in healthcare innovation, research, and the integration of clinical advancements into practice.
