Clinical Practice Director

Job Summary:
The Senior Director of Clinical Practice is a key leadership position at Thrive Group Canada, responsible for overseeing and ensuring clinical excellence across all Thrive organizations. This role provides leadership and direction for Medical Doctors and Nurse Practitioners, ensuring clinical programs, policies, education, and innovation are aligned and consistently delivered at the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct Medical Doctors and Nurse Practitioners in a multi-disciplinary and multi-site healthcare organization.
- Develop and implement clinical programs, policies, and education initiatives that promote excellence in patient care.
- Foster a community of practice among Nurse Practitioners, contributing to research, innovation, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and community partners to drive quality improvement and innovation in patient care.
- Provide direct care to residents at Idlewyld Manor while performing strategic and leadership duties.
Requirements:
- Current Nurse Practitioner Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in the Extended Class.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a senior clinical leadership role, with experience overseeing MDs and NPs in a multi-disciplinary and multi-site healthcare organization.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and developing clinical programs, policies, research initiatives, and education programs.
- Strong experience in fostering communities of practice, research, innovation, and driving quality improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with the Ontario healthcare system, long-term care legislation, and community healthcare settings.
