Key Responsibilities:- Plan and coordinate crop growth and development, considering factors such as water saturation, light, and temperature.
- Direct agricultural crops deleafing activities and ensure timely harvesting.
- Supervise nursery and greenhouse workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of crop production, financials, and maintenance activities.
- Enforce policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Identify and investigate compliance issues, taking corrective action as necessary.
- Coordinate planting, cultivating, and crop harvesting activities, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- 2 years of experience in agricultural crop production, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Pesticide Applicator's Licence and other relevant certifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure.
