Spectrum Power Systems Inc. is seeking a skilled Technical Sales Specialist to promote sales to existing clients and identify potential clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of client needs and resources, and be able to recommend the appropriate goods or services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote sales to existing clients and identify potential clients
  • Assess client's needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services
  • Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service
  • Deliver sales presentations and prepare sales contracts
  • Use sales forecasting software and conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce
  • Provide input into product design and consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
  • Train customers' staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment and resolve product and service related problems
  • Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists and estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience

Work Environment:

  • Permanent position
  • English language
  • 32 to 40 hours per week
