We are seeking a skilled and experienced Director, Business Development to join our team at MarshallZehr. This individual will play a crucial role in driving business growth through relationship-building, consultative selling, and identifying new revenue opportunities.

In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and arranging transactions, maintaining relationships with lending partners, and delivering risk-adjusted lending opportunities that match the investment mandates of our lenders.

You will work closely with our borrowers and lenders to provide detailed project analysis, evaluate loan compliance, and identify areas for value creation. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously will be invaluable assets in this position.

With a strong understanding of the construction and development process, financial modeling skills, and experience drafting and reviewing legal financing documents, you will be able to navigate complex financial transactions and drive successful outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in business development or account management in the real estate lending/mortgage industry or finance. You will possess a formal education majoring in real estate finance, analysis, valuation, cost consulting, or accounting.

Achieving success in this role requires the ability to think strategically, build strong relationships, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
