Benefits Account Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Account Manager to provide exceptional support to our sales consultants and client servicing team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for delivering client-focused account support and relationship management to external clients and internal consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and retain an assigned business block, ensuring seamless client service and support.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to drive business growth and client satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders, including clients, brokers, and customer service representatives.
- Conduct plan member education sessions and provide necessary tools, benchmarking, and renewal reports to clients.
- Develop and deliver communications required for plan sponsors and their employees, as needed.
- Participate in industry conferences and seminars to stay up-to-date on industry trends and activities.
- Maintain deep knowledge of administration, including in-house and carrier best practices, and liaise with implementation stakeholders as needed.
- Define service standards with clients and manage account lifecycle according to set service agreements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in group benefits in a client-facing role.
- Ability to act as a brand ambassador or key liaison for cross-functional services associated with People Corporation.
- Understanding of the group benefits industry, including funding arrangements.
- Completion or ability to complete GBA and/or Life License Qualification Program (preferred).
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, strong team player, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and provide deliverables as identified promptly.
- Proficiency and comfort working with multi-channel technology.
- Valid driver's license and vehicle.
