Benefits Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Benefits Consultant to join our team at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (AJG). As a key member of our Benefits and HR consulting team, you will play a critical role in helping our clients build workplaces that work better.
Your primary accountability will be to develop and acquire new business revenue through sales to new and existing clients, with a focus on small to mid-size companies with high revenue. You will participate in team sales situations with other producers and support personnel, developing a pipeline of business opportunities that are an appropriate mix of new clients and account expansion.
You will introduce Gallagher's full-service offering to broaden the scope and impact of client relationships, assisting, educating, and mentoring other staff members in new client sales situations and existing client service requirements. You will also stay ahead of industry, market, and legislative trends that impact health & welfare plan design, delivery, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and acquire new business revenue through sales to new and existing clients.
- Participate in team sales situations with other producers and support personnel.
- Develop a pipeline of business opportunities that are an appropriate mix of new clients and account expansion.
- Introduce Gallagher's full-service offering to broaden the scope and impact of client relationships.
- Stay ahead of industry, market, and legislative trends that impact health & welfare plan design, delivery, and compliance.
About You
We are looking for a Benefits Consultant who possesses:
- Significant consultative B2B sales experience.
- Experience in the Benefits Administration and Consulting industry is ideal.
