Job Summary:The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for managing sales of WAMIC's services, ensuring client satisfaction, and delivering sales targets. The incumbent will also identify opportunities for new service offerings, support business development activities, and present WAMIC's products/services to existing and prospective customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage sales of WAMIC's services and ensure client satisfaction
- Deliver sales targets and monitor sales activity
- Identify opportunities for new service offerings and support business development activities
- Present WAMIC's products/services to existing and prospective customers
- Coordinating sales efforts with WAMIC technical staff, R&I Business Development team, and Research Network partners
- Analyzing the market's potential, tracking sales, and writing status reports
- Expediting the resolution of customer concerns and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Negotiating contracts and closing agreements to meet financial targets
- Developing trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors
- Developing new business with existing clients and/or identifying areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
- Forecasting, tracking, and reporting on account metrics
- Referring leads and connecting companies with other areas of the college
Three (3) years demonstrated experience and success selling solutions associated with mechanical design, automation, productivity improvement, manufacturing operations management, or digital transformation.
