We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at Chilliwack Husky Travel Centre. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Inspect kitchens and food service areas, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
