At Yager Construction, we are seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for coordinating the flow of information within the team, recording and preparing minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences, and scheduling and confirming appointments. The successful candidate will also be responsible for answering telephone calls and relaying messages, overseeing the analysis of employee data and information, and answering electronic enquiries. Additionally, the candidate will oversee the development of communication strategies, compile data, statistics, and other information, and oversee the preparation of reports. The role also involves ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory, setting up and maintaining manual and computerized information filing systems, and performing basic bookkeeping tasks. The successful candidate will also participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees, and participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The hours of work are 40 hours per week.
