Job Title: Data Governance Specialist

Cross Safety Management LLC is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team. As a Data Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for leading a data management team across multiple locations for a large client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage tools and technologies to roll out data governance frameworks, including policies, standards, procedures, processes, and metrics.
  • Provide hands-on support and execution of data governance practices on behalf of business, coordinate work, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain an inventory of information assets, including authoritative systems, data domains, data owners, and the enterprise data governance platform.
  • Facilitate and conduct workshops with business partners to identify assets, collect, and curate metadata.
  • Serve as a liaison between business, functional areas, and technology to ensure that data-related business assets are clearly identified and defined.
  • Define indicators for performance, compliance, and adoption of data-related policies, standards, and practices.
Requirements:
  • Experience with data governance, metadata management, and data quality practices.
  • Hands-on experience in any one of the data governance tools, preferably Collibra.
  • 5+ years of IT experience with 3-4 years of experience in data governance.
