Job Summary:

Cross Safety Management LLC is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to lead our data management team across multiple locations for a large client. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leveraging tools and technologies to roll out data governance frameworks, including policies, standards, procedures, processes, and metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage data governance tools, such as Collibra, to develop and maintain inventory of information assets, including authoritative systems, data domains, data owners, and the enterprise data governance platform.
  • Provide hands-on support and execution of data governance practices on behalf of business, coordinate work, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain indicators for performance, compliance, and adoption of data-related policies, standards, and practices.
  • Serve as a liaison between business, functional areas, and technology to ensure that data-related business assets are clearly identified and defined.

Requirements:

  • Experience with data governance, metadata management, and data quality practices.
  • Hands-on experience in data governance tools, preferably Collibra.
  • 5+ years of IT experience with 3-4 years of experience in data governance.
