The B.C. College of Nurses and Midwives is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Nursing Education Specialist in our Vancouver office. This position offers a competitive salary of $93,000 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
Job OverviewThis is a full-time regular position that requires a minimum of an educational preparation at the doctoral or master's level in nursing or midwifery or related field. As a Nursing Education Specialist, you will be responsible for providing confidential consultation to registrants and program representatives employed by educational institutions or organizations offering nursing and midwifery education programs on the education program review process.
You will provide oversight and support to the BCCNM Education Program Review Committee to carry out the education program review process. In collaboration with other ECs, you will lead reviews of entry-level nursing and midwifery programs and courses in accordance with the BCCNM Education Program Review Policies and Guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Draft program recognition reports and letters, site visit instructions, and other correspondence to the education program administration.
- Synthesize evidence from source documents and EPRC meeting records for inclusion in an official recognition report regarding the EPRC review process, findings, and recommendations to the Board.
- Maintain communication with education program administrators and keep them informed of the steps and timing of the program review process.
