About the Role

This is a casual opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work in an Assisted Living environment, providing care to tenants requiring nursing assessment, service planning, and interventions. The ideal candidate will have recent related experience of 2 years or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess care plans, implement, and evaluate care to meet the needs of clients in accordance with competency guidelines and within established standards of practice and current legislative scope of practice.
  • Provide medication management and administration to tenants in accordance with established guidelines and policy, as well as guidance to Community Health Workers (CHWs) in medication management.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Mental Health teams, Occupational Health Teams, and other team members involved in client care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses.
  • Current full practicing licensure with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC (CLPNBC).
  • Certificates in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid.
