Job SummaryThis is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse to develop their skills in post-transplant care. As a Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing clients post-solid organ transplantation, coordinating interdisciplinary assessment and follow-up treatment, and educating clients on their condition and treatment plan.
Key Responsibilities- Assess clients post-solid organ transplantation and coordinate interdisciplinary assessment and follow-up treatment
- Develop and implement client education plans using evidence-based principles
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients
- Participate in multidisciplinary committees to improve patient outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Completion of two years' recent, related experience, including one year's experience in adult patient education or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Knowledge of nursing theory and practice within a client- and family-centered model of care
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The estimated salary range for this position is CAD $41.42-$55.91 per hour.
