Job Summary

We're seeking a seasoned Technical Account Manager to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strategic relationships with customers, and promoting our cutting-edge solutions across various regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to our current business development strategy and revenue goals by increasing our subscriber base and bringing in new customer accounts.
  • Identify opportunities within existing accounts for growth and build relationships with customers to ensure they are optimising their operations with Krux.
  • Represent us as a technical leader in real-time data solutions for drilling operations through technical sessions at tradeshows, webinars, blog posts and/or technical documentation on our software solutions.
  • Seek integration and collaboration opportunities with strategic partners, in line with our customer's needs and company vision. Work closely and collaboratively with our Imdex colleagues.
  • Keep a pulse on the market as to how we can continue to innovate and solve customer pain points. Work closely with our product team to contribute to the product roadmap.
Requirements:
  • You are a skilled sales professional with the ability to build relationships, negotiate with customers, convey value proposition and close deals.
  • You are a mentor and leader to your team members, exhibiting a high standard for yourself, your work ethic and professional relationships.
  • You are organized, motivated and a self-starter with a drive to succeed and attention to detail.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills; a knack for delivering compelling presentations and product demonstrations.
  • You are a problem solver: you have a consultative approach to solving your customer's business challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in commerce, Engineering, or Geology or relevant industry experience; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience with SaaS sales and/or relevant experience within the mining/drilling industry.
  • Previous experience with surface and underground exploration drill programs and contractors considered an asset.
  • Ability to work well independently and manage workload in a dynamic agile startup environment.
  • Intermediate to Expert Level experience working in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Power Point).
