Key Responsibilities- Diagnose diseases and physiological disorders through microscopic and chemical analyses of laboratory samples and specimens
- Conduct medical research on human disorders, illnesses, preventive or curative methods
- Supervise laboratory activities, including training resident pathologists and morgue attendants
- Act as consultants to other physicians, ordering laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures
- License to practice medicine in Canada
- Specialty residency training in pathology
- Experience in laboratory medicine, preferably in a hospital setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
