Job Title: Anatomical Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Anatomical Pathologist to join our team at Alberta Precision Laboratories Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing diseases and physiological disorders through the examination of laboratory samples and specimens. They will also conduct medical research, prepare research papers, and supervise laboratory activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose diseases and physiological disorders through microscopic and chemical analyses of laboratory samples and specimens
  • Conduct medical research on human disorders, illnesses, preventive or curative methods
  • Prepare research papers for publication and presentation
  • Supervise laboratory activities and act as consultants to other physicians
  • Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures
Requirements:
  • License to practice medicine in Canada
  • Specialty residency training in anatomical pathology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
