Key Responsibilities- Employee and Labor Relations: Provide expert advice and guidance on employee and labor relations, including interpretation and application of collective agreements, HR policies, and procedures.
- Strategic Recruitment and Selection: Develop and oversee the implementation of TRU's employment brand and recruitment and selection strategy, ensuring alignment with TRU's strategic goals and objectives.
- Organization Development & Learning: Lead the development and implementation of TRU's performance management programs, including coaching and advising portfolio leaders on effective performance and development planning.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
- Experience: Minimum four years of experience in a complex, multi-union, public sector environment.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work as an integral member of a highly functioning HR team.
