About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Prairie Mountain Health. In this rewarding role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients/residents/clients in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Practice within the scope of practice of the Licensed Practical Nurses Act, the approved College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM) Scope of Practice and Entry-Level Competencies, provincial and federal legislation, and within the guidelines of professional ethics.
  • Obtain and maintain relevant competencies for the position as offered by PMH.
Requirements
  • Active practicing licensure with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM), or eligibility for active practicing licensure.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Training as delineated in Prairie Mountain Health Policy PPG-00002 CPR Training.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider (P) and Renewal (R).
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Provider and Recertification.
  • Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS).
