Job Summary

Prairie Mountain Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Health Care Aide to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct client care and support within established standards of care, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, promoting self-respect, dignity, and independence while encouraging clients to care for themselves within their abilities.
  • Communicate client changes to the team leader and document care according to policy.
  • Participate in client care conferences and contribute to individual care plan development.
  • Provide personal hygiene support, including bathing, grooming, skin care, oral care, dressing, and elimination assistance.
  • Assist with mobility, observation, and measurements as per care plans.
  • Maintain a clean environment, report accidents, and participate in admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated communication skills and flexibility to adapt to changing techniques and procedures.
  • Ability to display independent judgment, respect confidentiality, and promote cultural diversity.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Training or equivalent.
