Personal Care Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Prairie Mountain Health. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality client care and support.
About the RoleThis is a full-time opportunity that requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client-centered care. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will work closely with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to provide personalized care and support.
Responsibilities- Assist clients with activities of daily living, promoting independence and dignity.
- Provide or assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and skin care.
- Support clients with mobility needs, including assistance with walking, transfers, and positioning.
- Administer medications safely and correctly, following established protocols.
- Monitor and document client progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the care team.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control practices and safety protocols.
- Diploma or certificate in health care aide training or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and move clients safely and comfortably.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A competitive salary of $$42,500 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
