Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Nursing Team. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will provide professional nursing services to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a commitment to quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide independent nursing services, including administration of prescribed medical treatments and participating in interdisciplinary care planning.
  2. Facilitate coordination of patient care and discharge, ensuring seamless transitions between care settings.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams, promoting open communication and collaboration.
  4. Prioritize care for individual patients or groups, responding quickly to changing situations and adapting to new information.
  5. Maintain current knowledge of nursing best practices, industry developments, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Degree from an approved education program conferring the designation 'Graduate Nurse.'
  • Specialty training related to the clinical area applied for (or willingness to complete within a defined period).
  • CNA certification in a specialty related to the assigned clinical area preferred.
  • Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) and participation in professional associations (e.g., Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba).
  • BLS or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements in accordance with Employer policy.
Working Conditions

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $40.616 - $49.826 per hour, based on your experience and qualifications. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, you will have opportunities for professional growth and development, working in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
