We are currently seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our Automotive business unit in (location). This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of efficient manufacturing processes, ensuring seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve current manufacturing processes to meet or exceed performance targets, driving efficiency and competitiveness.
  • Technology Development: Support the integration of new manufacturing technologies to enhance project profitability and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Evaluation and Implementation: Ensure effective execution of ECRs (Engineering Change Requests) and MCRs (Manufacturing Change Requests), adhering to planned timelines and expectations.
  • Document Management: Develop, release, and manage all necessary manufacturing documents, including PFMEAs, Process Flow charts, Work Instructions, Control plans, and Feasibility studies.
  • Equipment Installation: Plan, develop, and implement the required manufacturing and packaging equipment and packaging proposals to achieve project objectives.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of work experience in Manufacturing, with a preference for the Automotive industry.
  • Skills:
    • Injection mold process experience is highly valued.
    • Familiarity with Fanuc robot programming and troubleshooting is advantageous.
    • Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC/HMI programming is desirable.
    • Working knowledge of design and application for machine elements, electrical control systems, and robotic applications.
    • Ability to read, understand, and create engineering drawings, as well as geometric dimensioning and tolerance.
