Production Assembly Specialist

Job SummaryThis position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks that are manufacturing or distribution based, including final processing of product, crimping, hose assembly, and cut cell activities (including cuts, cleaning, labeling and skiving hose).
- Conduct thorough quality checks on assembled hoses to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications.
- Ability to operate mechanical equipment, hand tools, forklifts and picking lifts maintaining a high level of proficiency and safety.
- Identify and report any defects or inconsistencies in the assembly process.
- Work closely with team members, including engineers and quality control personnel, to address production challenges and enhance overall efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including quantities produced, materials used, and any issues encountered.
- Fulfill production orders by selecting hoses and fittings according to specifications.
- Transport hoses to assembly stations and expertly assemble fittings onto hoses before forwarding them to the crimp station.
- Precisely crimp hoses to meet Pinpoint specifications in preparation for the final processing stage.
- Utilize scanning technology to record and track information at various points throughout the production process.
- Requires proficiency in math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in units of measure.
- Basic mechanical skills including the use of hand tools.
- Basic computer skills including MS Word, Excel, internet, and email.
- 1-2 years of warehousing or production experience in an industrial setting is preferred.
- $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
