Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Island Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary health team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with members of our healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
- Patient Assessment and Care: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical and emotional needs, and provide personalized care to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Education and Support: Provide patients and their families with education and support to help them manage their respiratory conditions and improve their overall well-being.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records and reports, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a respiratory therapy setting.
- Certifications: Certificate of Registry from the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists - R.R.T. and CPR Certificate.
- Competitive Salary: As per collective agreement.
