Respiratory Therapist

Island Health is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to join our team. To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Graduation from a recognized program in Respiratory Therapy.
- Eligibility for registered membership with the British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT).
As a Respiratory Therapist with Island Health, you will be responsible for:
- Operating respiratory therapy equipment and performing respiratory therapy procedures.
- Providing education and training to patients and hospital staff on respiratory methods and equipment operation.
- Communicating effectively with patients, physicians, and the public.
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
