Bakery Team Member

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Bakery Team Member to join our team at Fresh Market Restaurant Inc. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of baked goods and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain a well-stocked bakery.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to produce a variety of breads and pastries.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Prepare special orders and ensure that products meet established standards.
  • Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Draw up production schedules to meet customer demand and ensure timely delivery.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced bakery environment with a team of experienced professionals. The work setting will be in a supermarket or bakery department, with opportunities to work in a restaurant setting.
