Hotel Operations Manager

We are seeking a Hotel Food and Beverage Service Manager at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Waterloo/St. Jacobs.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading the food and beverage service team to deliver exceptional guest experiences, ensuring seamless operations, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen, and cleaning supplies.
- Daily Operations Evaluation: Regularly evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Service Offering: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Cash Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms accurately and efficiently.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess team members' progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Cost Control: Continuously monitor and control costs associated with products and services.
- Liquor Legislation: Ensure compliance with provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
- Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure competitive pricing.
- Client Relations: Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities to build strong relationships and drive business growth.
- Marketing Plans: Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote the hotel's services and offerings.
To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities. A background in hospitality management, combined with experience in budget management, customer service, and team leadership, is essential.
What We OfferHoliday Inn Express & Suites Waterloo/St. Jacobs offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience. Our hotel provides a fast-paced work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.
