As a Rental Technician at Resorts of the Canadian Rockies, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience on the mountain.

  • Provide expert advice and assistance to guests in selecting the right ski or snowboard equipment, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Conduct thorough safety checks and complete waivers for all rentals, educating guests on the safe use of equipment.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor at all times.
  • Manage cash transactions, including balancing, ordering coins, and performing opening and closing duties.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
  • Sell retail products, including clothing, goggles, and other accessories.
  • Work flexible shifts, adapting to varying hours based on weather and visitation levels.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a rental or retail environment.
  • Proven sales experience and proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) applications.
  • Cash handling experience and a passion for skiing or snowboarding.
  • Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical stamina to withstand brief periods of exposure to extreme weather conditions and lift at least 30 pounds.
