Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ski and Snowboard Equipment Technician to join our team at Resorts of the Canadian Rockies. As a key member of our rental and repair team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have access to high-quality, well-maintained equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain rental and guest ski and snowboard equipment to the highest standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring that they have a positive experience with our rental and repair services.
  • Perform cash handling duties, including opening, balancing, and closing cash registers.
  • Assist guests with sizing and fitting equipment for comfort and safety.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Previous rental experience and extensive experience tuning ski and snowboard equipment.
  • Experience fitting ski and snowboard equipment, particularly boot fitting.
  • Familiarity with gear tuning equipment, including base grinder, stone grinder, and ceramic disk edge finisher.
  • Previous cash handling experience.
  • Passion for mountain culture, skiing and snowboarding, and the resort environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Point of Sale (POS) applications.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
