Job Title: Head of 3D Bitmoji Creative

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced creative leader to join our team at Snap Inc. as the Head of 3D Bitmoji Creative. This role will be responsible for establishing a compelling creative vision for 3D Bitmoji and leading a team of artists and leads on 3D avatar development, fashion, and content creation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a creative strategy for 3D Bitmoji that aligns with the company's overall vision and goals.
  • Lead and mentor a team of artists and leads to ensure the highest quality of work and to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to make strategic decisions for Bitmoji products, considering market trends, user feedback, and business objectives.
  • Work closely with the product team to ensure Bitmoji products align with the company's overarching strategy and goals, contributing to a cohesive roadmap for production.
  • Anticipate, identify, and resolve operational and quality issues for the Bitmoji content organization.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience leading or managing a team in the industry.
  • 10+ years of experience in a character art, illustration, gaming, or animation-focused role.
  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in illustration, graphic design, gaming, animation, or a related field.
  • A portfolio submission featuring highlights of past creative work that you have overseen.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exceptional skills in various creative disciplines, commitment to highest quality of design and/or animation, and an eye for detail.
  • Previous experience in technology.
  • Experience with digital content creation software (Maya, Photoshop, Unity, Unreal Engine).
  • Experience with AR and Lens Studio is a plus.
