Visionary Creative Director, Art

At Lyft, we're on a mission to revolutionize transportation and make a positive impact on people's lives. To achieve this vision, we need talented and passionate creatives to join our team as Creative Director (Art/Design).
As a key member of our internal creative team, you'll report to the Head of the Creative Studio and partner closely with the Exec. Creative Director (Copy) to drive our creative vision. You'll be responsible for leading an internal team of designers, guiding external agencies, and collaborating with cross-functional partners to develop world-class brand creative work that aligns with our company's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Exec. Creative Director (Copy) to bring the brand vision and strategy to life across all marketing channels.
- Lead and mentor our internal team of designers, guiding external creative partners and agencies, and working hands-on to develop original creative work.
- Partner with leaders across the company to ensure our brand's creative vision is consistent with broader company goals.
- Serve as an executive-level advocate for creative thinking and solutions to business challenges.
- Concept and execute world-class campaigns and content that deliver on business goals.
- Lead with clarity and vision, empathy, and curiosity.
- Inspire and enable the design team to create a culture where ideas can flourish.
Requirements:
- Strong background and excellent taste in visual design, art direction, conceptual thinking, brand vision, and craft.
- Experience guiding a team through the process of translating research, company objectives, and high-level strategic direction into creative solutions.
- 12+ years of relevant experience in the industry.
- 5+ years of people management experience, coaching and developing team members.
- Experience building integrated creative campaigns and manifesting brand strategies through work that impacts culture.
