About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Viva Mexicana. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase the flavors and ingredients of Mexico
    • Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers to ensure consistency and freshness
  • Kitchen Management
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
    • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all dishes are prepared to a high standard and presented attractively
    • Respond to customer complaints and feedback in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Work Environment
    • Restaurant environment with fast-paced and physically demanding conditions
  • Personal Qualities
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
    • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability
