About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation

Develop and implement menus that showcase the flavors and ingredients of Mexican cuisine, while also considering dietary restrictions and preferences.

Chef Supervision

Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the demands of our restaurant.

Inventory Management

Manage inventory levels and ensure that all ingredients and supplies are ordered and stocked in a timely manner.

Quality Control

Inspect and taste all dishes to ensure that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Customer Service

Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring that all customers receive a warm and welcoming experience, and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements
  • Education

A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Work Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role is required.

Work Setting

Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment is required.

Physical Demands

The ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and work in a physically demanding environment is required.
