Job Summary:

As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, conducting wine tastings and tours, and assisting with sales and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with wine tastings and purchases, providing exceptional customer service and promoting our products
  • Conduct entertaining and informative tours of the winery, including structured tastings for tour groups
  • Use a computer-operated point-of-sale system and perform opening and closing duties
  • Assist with special events, including wine tastings and sales
  • Provide dinner service in both formal and informal settings
  • Represent the winery at offsite events
  • Stock and maintain wine and giftware inventory
  • Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

  • Smart Serve Certification
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to work well within a team-focused environment
  • Motivation to exceed sales targets
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Responsible and trustworthy
  • Ambitious and goal-oriented
  • Retail experience is a must-have
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Previous serving experience would be an asset
  • Fluency in French, Chinese, Korean, or Japanese would be considered an asset
  • Wine knowledge is an asset, but not necessary as training is provided
  • Must be available to work on evenings and weekends
