Job Opportunity


We are actively recruiting for an Operations Manager - Wine Production at our Niagara Falls facility to supervise and lead all activities related to bottle shop and sanitation operations. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of supervisory experience and be able to coordinate, plan, and optimize daily production requirements.


Responsibilities



  2. Coordinate daily production schedules, including labor, product changeovers, and component supply management.
  3. Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and develop plans to ensure continuous production.
  4. Develop and train operations staff on new programs centered around safety, quality, and performance improvement.
  5. Complete administrative tasks, including payroll, time-off scheduling, and data reporting.
  6. Manage Kronos supervision and hire, train, and develop employees.
  7. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on key performance indicators such as line startup efficiency, right-first-time production, and overtime reduction.
  8. Implement 5S principles and maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to HACCP and ISO standards.
  9. Attend meetings, participate in shop-floor management, and contribute to employee evaluations and development.

Qualifications and Skills



  • College graduate with a degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, operations management, or engineering).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or production environments.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with JDE and Kronos software.
  • Able to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes.
