About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Plant Manager to join our team at VPC Group Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance and Replacement: Develop and implement effective equipment maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and recommend replacement of machines as needed.
  • Quality Control: Direct and oversee quality control inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, supervise, and train employees in the use of new equipment and production techniques, and oversee the training of new staff members.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient production and minimize waste.
  • Process Improvement: Plan and implement changes to machinery, equipment, production systems, and methods of work to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Financial Management: Plan and manage the establishment of departmental budgets and oversee financial resources.
  • Operational Oversight: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient production.
Industry Experience
  • Furniture and Fixtures: We are seeking candidates with experience in the furniture and fixtures industry, with a strong understanding of production processes and quality control measures.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
