We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst II to join our team at the City of Kamloops. As a Business Analyst II, you will play a key role in analyzing and improving business processes and outcomes. Your expertise will be essential in gathering, analyzing, and communicating business requirements, while designing and implementing IT solutions that meet our organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and analyze business requirements to identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Design and implement IT solutions to meet business needs
  • Work closely with stakeholders, vendors, and team members to ensure quality and usability of IT solutions
  • Develop and maintain business cases and project plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A post-secondary degree in Information Technology, Business, Sciences, or Engineering
  • Completion of a minimum of four courses in an accredited Business Analysis or Project Management Certificate Program
  • Minimum three years' experience in Business Analysis with enterprise applications, including project management, application life cycle support, and systems architecture
