We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team at the City of Kamloops. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and improving business processes and outcomes. Your primary responsibility will be to gather, analyze, and communicate business requirements, while designing and implementing IT solutions that meet our organizational needs.
This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with various stakeholders, vendors, and team members to ensure the quality and usability of IT solutions.
The successful candidate will have a post-secondary degree in Information Technology, Business, Sciences, or Engineering, and a minimum of four courses recognized in an accredited Business Analysis or Project Management Certificate Program. Additionally, they will have a minimum of three years' previous experience in Business Analysis with enterprise applications, including project management, application life cycle support, and systems architecture.
A comprehensive benefits package is included with this position. For new hires, and for those working in designated positions of trust, including those working directly with vulnerable persons, no formal offer of employment will be made until an applicant completes a police information check. This is a CUPE local 900 position.
