The Director of Infrastructure Operations at Onico Solutions reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer and oversees the management, motivation, and guidance of a team of onsite and remote DevOps engineers. This leader ensures that operations processes are clearly documented, communicated, and understood to deliver a consistent high quality of service and reliability to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Technical Leadership: Leading the team through technical evolution towards scalable and modern architecture, with a focus on service availability and automation in delivering resilient and self-correcting systems.
  2. Monitoring and Alerting: Implementing effective monitoring and alerting solutions that are pre-emptive in detecting and resolving issues, while being accountable for maintaining and exceeding service levels to meet availability expectations.
  3. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with other leaders to align towards common goals and bridge communications between multiple areas across product, technology, development, QA, and support.
  4. Technical Vision and Decision Making: Supporting leadership in defining and driving technical vision and decisions, while helping prioritize, set, and own pod milestones, and defining patterns and operational guidelines.
  5. Architecture and Design: Contributing to and ensuring Architecture Solutions have sound design, security, and built-in resiliency.
  6. Software Development: Ensuring adherence to common software development design patterns.
  7. Team Guidance and Development: Defining and ensuring the team's software design patterns and operational guidelines.
  8. Mentorship and Code Review: Mentoring and reviewing team members, holding the highest standards for rigorously tested and elegant code.
Requirements:

This is a permanent position with an annual salary range of $160,000.00 – $175,000.00.
