Strategic Operations Director Opportunity

Synnapex Inc., a leading provider of technology professional services and hardware solutions, is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Strategic Operations Director to join our growing team.

About the Role

This is a pivotal position that requires outstanding leadership and team-building skills. As our Strategic Operations Director, you will play a crucial role in refining and expanding our operations in the smart building and smart community sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct all aspects of operations for Synnapex's smart building division;
  • Spearhead the transition from third-party OEM offerings to our branded product line;
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive product line growth, optimize operational efficiency, and ensure superior customer service;
  • Collaborate with the President to build Synnapex's outsourced Chinese manufacturing supply chain network;
  • Plan product line refinements and improvements based on market trends;
  • Establish manufacturing partnerships and supply chain management processes;
  • Oversee and guide the resolution of product and technical issues;
  • Develop and oversee the annual departmental budget;
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives for operational workflows;
  • Provide consistent feedback to middle managers and team members;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional department leaders to streamline workflows and align operations with business strategy.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in business administration or a similar field;
  • 10+ years of experience in senior operations management for tech and hardware-related product manufacturing;
  • Proficient in outsourcing manufacturing operations to China, including regulatory frameworks, supplier relationships, and logistical processes;
  • Extensive expertise in international outsourcing, manufacturing from China, and supply chain management;
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build cohesive teams and manage personnel;
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese is a strong asset;
  • Proficient in ISO, ERP, SaaS, Six Sigma, and Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Excellent strategic, analytical, organizational, and prioritization abilities;
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex problem-solving situations and make well-informed decisions.
What We Offer

This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary range of $120,900 to $124,800, based on experience and qualifications.
