Infrastructure Project Manager

The City of Richmond Hill is in search of a committed Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee the execution of infrastructure development initiatives. This position entails managing the planning and implementation of parks and public space projects, ensuring they adhere to the highest standards of quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with stakeholders to outline project specifications
  • Develop comprehensive project timelines
  • Lead cross-functional teams and external consultants
  • Formulate design proposals and assess architectural plans
  • Guarantee adherence to legal regulations and standards
  • Supervise the construction activities and contract management
  • Maintain inventory of assets and relevant databases
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline
  • Membership with the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a comparable position
  • PMP certification is an advantage
Skills and Qualifications:
  • In-depth technical knowledge in park design and construction
  • Creative proficiency in drafting and design
  • Strong communication and negotiation capabilities
  • Robust decision-making and leadership skills
  • Possession of a valid Ontario Class 'G' Driver's License
