Regional Health Operations Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our team as Executive Director, Regions. As a key member of our leadership team, you will provide executive, strategic, and operational leadership to our Regional Team, driving regional engagement, operations, and support services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide executive and strategic regional leadership to Partnership Accord implementation, working collaboratively with communities and Regional Health Authorities to develop innovative and culturally appropriate approaches to health and wellness.
- Lead the regional presence through the development of, and leadership to, the regional team, and in partnership with the regional health system to operationalize province-wide aspects and initiatives to nation and regional plans and strategies.
- Supervise and lead staff members, including Directors, Managers, specialists, and other staff, to achieve regional goals and objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A university degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Recent, relevant, and significant experience in leading health operations in a regional setting, usually acquired over a period of 10 or more years.
- Recent, relevant, and significant experience in strategic leadership of diverse teams engaged in community engagement and operations, usually acquired over a period of 10 or more years.
- Recent, relevant, and significant senior management experience in First Nations Health, usually acquired over a period of 10 or more years.
- Experience working with First Nations/Aboriginal people at a community and/or political level, including work in the area of community engagement and community/organizational development and health.
