JBS Food Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at our Belleville, ON facility. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide analysis and recommendations on account and bank reconciliations
  • Ensure accurate recording of raw material receipts and inventory reconciliation
  • Maintain capital assets sub-ledger and track capital asset projects
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and provide information and recommendations on any action required
  • Prepare management reports as needed
  • Process cash receipts and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable sub-ledgers
Requirements
  • College diploma or university degree in business or accounting, with 5 years of related accounting experience
  • Excellent oral communication and customer service skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • In-depth knowledge of ACCPAC accounting software
