Job Title: Employee Relations Specialist - Restaurant Operations

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our team in Ottawa. This is a full-time, salaried position that requires flexibility and a strong ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective employee relations services to support the attraction, growth, development, retention, and motivation of over 200 employees at multiple restaurant locations. This includes staffing, training, performance management, employee relations, health and safety, and compliance with policies and legislative requirements.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A Human Resources Management diploma or relevant bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills (written & verbal).
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Issue management skills including conflict management, organization, and problem-solving/decision-making skills.
  • Tech savvy, the ability to use various software such as Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Bilingual is a plus.

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
