About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Property Manager to join our team at EightSix Network. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities and maintenance of our commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all building operations, including maintenance staff, external contractors, and building technical facilities.
- Perform weekly inspections of the buildings and property grounds to ensure the highest level of preventative safety measures and cleanliness.
- Prepare, monitor, and manage the annual expense budget for our properties.
- Prepare monthly forecasts, variance reports, and adjustments for our accounting department.
- Negotiate and manage all service contracts with our property services group.
- Manage sustainability processes and tenant construction work.
- Collaborate with various departments and suppliers to ensure seamless operations.
- Respond to emergencies related to property operations and provide technical information for major or minor repairs.
- Prepare project quotes and obtain approval for submission.
- Supervise contractor work to ensure high-quality results.
Requirements
- At least 3+ years of experience in commercial property management.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively manage tenant requests.
- Strong administrative skills and ability to delegate responsibilities to subcontracts.
- Organized and able to work under minimal supervision.
- Basic knowledge of building systems and construction.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Technical savvy and understanding of commercial leases.
- Bilingual.
