About the Role
The Property Manager is a key position in our residential property management team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our properties in Laval, QC. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and train staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of property maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective property management strategies to maximize profitability and minimize costs.
- Lead and manage a team of staff to ensure excellent customer service, timely rent collection, and effective maintenance of properties.
- Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity.
- Recommend rent rates and develop annual budgets and operating plans.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with the District Manager to achieve business objectives and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential property management or a related field.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in property management software.
- Bilingual in French and English, required.
